ESPN grandstand Event 19.09.2010

I had a blast @ pavilion kl on the title mentioned date. Why? ESPN grandstand event for the Manchester United vs Liverpool match of course. The event was great the atmosphere was terrific. Hell even did 2 interview 1 for espn maxis voice of the fan and the other for News Straits Times. Check it out.

" With the large crowd watching the match on two huge LCD TVs, it was going to be hard to stand out but Arunasena, 27, managed to do so by painting his face in the colours of his beloved team.

I'm a hardcore United fan as you can see by my face paint..."

Owen Blazing Guns...

Well...all I`m gonna say is that Manchester United has done it yet again even with 15 players 13 missing due to injuries and credits to Owen...yes the once prolific  ex-Liverpool striker has finally...yes hopefully regain his form for Manchester United.

It`s an amazing performance.

Michael Owen fired himself spectacularly into the World Cup reckoning last night as the England striker's first hat-trick in four years secured a 3-1 win at Wolfsburg in the Champions League for Manchester United.
Missing 15 first-team players, Sir Alex Ferguson's team pulled off a remarkable victory in Saxony to finish top of Group B and set a new Champions League record of 15 away games without defeat.
But the night was all about Owen, who sent a clear message to England manager Fabio Capello, who has only capped the 29-year-old once in his two seasons in charge.

With midfielders Michael Carrick, Darren Fletcher and Ji-Sung Park playing in defence in Germany, United were on the back foot for much of the night but took the lead through an Owen header just before half-time and went on to score twice late in the game after Wolfsburg hit back through Edin Dzeko.

Crisis In Manchester United

United is facing an injury crisis ahead of tonight`s Champions League match againts Wolfsburg with 13 players out on injuries. This included the entire defensive line excluding Patrice Evra. Now how is Sir Alex going to cope with the backline for United, here comes a surprise entry to the squad Oliver Gill who is actually the chief executive David Gill`s son. United would also be playing Michael Carrick and Darren Gibson at the back for tonight`s match.

According to Paul Scholes, a United living legend, the injuries plaguing the United camp will not play any effect on the upcoming match. Well as a United fan, all I`m hoping is that a sound victory tonight or even a simple draw as we need to qualify for the next stage of the tourney. Fergie... I hope you know what your doing man.

So let`s see how the match goes.
